We have a variety of recruitment activities throughout the year to encourage more people to come forward to care for Edinburgh's children. These range from citywide advertising e.g. on buses, in the press and on radio, to drop in days and local events. Find out more by clicking on the links to the left.
"It's been great working with the Council on such a vital part of their work. Foster care changes many young lives for the better but Edinburgh needs more people to care for the five hundred children in our city who need homes.
"The good news is that this campaign has been a great success so far with over 130 enquiries and 2000 website hits already. There's still a month to go so I'm sure there's more positive news to come. I'm particularly pleased and proud to see that 30% of these calls were from our wonderful Radio Forth listeners who have heard the advert and want to know more about helping a young person."
