'In onthe Act'
'In on the Act' was produced by the City of Edinburgh Council to ensure effective implementation of the Education (Additional Support for Learning)(Scotland) Act 2004. It includes 'Pathways to Support' which give a structured approach to identifying, assessing and supporting pupils' learning.
The ASL Forum

Principal Teachers Support for Learning
Every secondary school in Edinburgh has a Support for Learning Department led by a Principal Teacher (PT). There are meetings for these PTs three times a year, organised by the Quality Improvement Officer (QIO) who has a remit for Support for Learning. The agenda for the meeting is drawn up initially by the QIO then PTs are invited to add any issues they wish to raise.
